CDOT and City of Steamboat Springs open house scheduled tomorrow
ROUTT COUNTY/STEAMBOAT SPRINGS —The public is invited to join Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) and the City of Steamboat Springs design team to review the final plans and construction phasing for the Elk River Road and US 40 intersection improvement project. Construction on this project is scheduled to begin spring of 2017.

The Elk River Road and US 40 project consists of installation of a new traffic signal that meets current CDOT standards and the addition of auxiliary lanes, including a dual left turn lane from southbound Elk River Road to eastbound US 40. Other improvements will include pedestrian accommodations and facilities, drainage improvements and a full asphalt overlay of the entire project area.
