I-25 Ramp Closures at Briargate and Interquest Parkways

August 24, 2016 - Southeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 2 - Daytime Closures on August 29 and 30th for milling and paving

EL PASO COUNTY —Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will be closing the southbound I-25 off-ramp at exit 151, Briargate Parkway, on Monday, August 29 from 8am to 5pm. The closing is necessary for milling and paving of the bridge decking. On Tuesday, August 30 from 8am to 5pm, milling and paving operations will move to exit 153, Interquest Parkway, where the I-25 southbound off-ramp as well as the southbound onramp to I-25, will be closed.

TRAFFIC IMPACTS: Traffic will not be allowed to exit southbound I-25 at exit 151/ Briargate Parkway on Monday, August 29. Southbound traffic will need to exit at Interquest Parkway or North Academy. Northbound traffic will not be affected. Access to north and southbound on-ramps to I-25, from Briargate Parkway, will be available. On Tuesday, August 30 there will be a full closure of southbound on and off-ramps from 8am to 5pm. Southbound traffic will need to exit at Briargate Parkway. Northbound traffic at I-25 and Interquest Parkway will be unaffected.
