Powers Boulevard lane closure for concrete patching
July 21, 2016 - Northwestern Colorado/CDOT Region 3 - COLORADO SPRINGS –The Southbound left lane of Powers Boulevard is temporarily closed.
SEMA Construction and the Colorado Department of Transportation are in the process of performing emergency concrete patching on Powers Boulevard at Airport Road. Due to heavy rains, followed by high temperatures, the existing concrete buckled. To ensure the safety of the traveling public, the concrete needs to be repaired immediately. The concrete patching is expected to be complete today and the lane will reopen as soon as possible. Travelers should expect delays in the area.
