CO 9 Wildlife Overpass Structure Placement Begins July 13

Longer delays should be expected.

GRAND & SUMMIT COUNTIES—Crews will be working to install the second wildlife overpass structure on Colorado Highway (CO) 9 at mile point 129.5, Wednesday, July 13, and Thursday, July 14. This structure spans the width of the highway and is being installed using two construction cranes.

Traffic Impacts:
Due to the nature of this installation, 45-minute stops both northbound and southbound are needed to ensure proper and safe placement of the structure. Complete road closures will be in place for 45 minutes at a time. Motorists should utilize CO 131 or US 40 to avoid delays.
