Southbound I-25 Near Colorado City Now Open

May 26, 2017 - Southeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 2

Pueblo, CO – Colorado Department of Transportation has reopened all lanes of traffic on I-25, both south and northbound at mile post 77 following a tanker truck accident around 7:00 am today. Due to weather in the area, the wreckage cannot be cleared. Another closure of I-25 will take place beginning tomorrow morning to remove the wreckage.

During tomorrow’s closure of southbound I-25, there will be a detour for traffic at exit 77 and delays are expected.
