Construction to Restart on SH120 East of Florence
May 6, 2016 - Southeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 2 - PUEBLO – Construction restarted on the Colorado Department of Transportation’s (CDOT) bridge replacement project on State Highway (SH) 120 east of Florence, near the intersection of SH 115.
The project included replacing an 83-year old bridge rated in poor condition and functionally obsolete. The bridge crosses over Union Pacific Railroad tracks and a ditch. This is the final phase of the project and it is expected to be complete before Memorial Day.
On May 6, crews will begin milling. The bridge will be closed beginning Tuesday, May 10 for paving. Stripers are scheduled for May 17. Detours with signage will be in place.
