Drivers can expect delays near US 287 and Shields on Wednesday and Thursday

February 19, 2016 - Northeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 4 - Union Pacific Railroad performing work in the area next week.

Larimer County – Union Pacific Railroad will be performing potholing for utilities and boring operations at the intersection of US 287 and Shields from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday.

Drivers can expect some delays in the area during that time. Law enforcement officers will control the intersection during that time.

The Colorado Department of Transportation is beginning work in this area as well for the expansion of the road which should have limited impact on traffic. The work next week is being done by the railroad.
