Night Closures on I-25 and Fillmore Street

December 18, 2015 - Southeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 2 - COLORADO SPRINGS - On Tuesday night, December 22, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., the Colorado Department of Transportation will close Interstate 25 at Fillmore Street (Exit 145) for a bridge deck pour.

Fillmore Street will also be closed between the I-25 northbound and southbound ramps starting at 8 p.m. During this time, crews will be pouring the bridge deck for the eastbound Fillmore Street bridge structure over the highway. This closure will take place to ensure the safety of the traveling public.

At Fillmore Street, I-25 through traffic will be detoured off the highway at the off-ramps and routed back onto the highway using the on-ramps. Motorists can turn right off the ramps, but will not be able to turn left onto Fillmore Street. Delays of up to 15 minutes can be expected.

There will be signed detours along I-25 to direct motorists around the work. Detours will utilize the Garden of the Gods and Fontanero exits.
