I-70 Over Havana Street Bridge Replacement Project Update
DENVER — On Sunday, Dec. 6 through Friday, Dec. 11 construction activities continue on the I-70 over Havana Street bridge replacement project.
Lane Closures Eastbound & Westbound I-70, Central Park Boulevard to Havana Street
On Sunday Dec. 6, eastbound I-70 from Central Park Blvd. to east of Havana St. will undergo a single right lane closure for bridge construction work. The closure will be in effect from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Starting Monday, Dec. 7, through Thursday, Dec. 10, eastbound and westbound I-70 from Central Park Blvd. to east of Havana St. will experience triple lane closures for pothole repairs. Closures will begin with a single lane at 7 p.m., double lanes at 9 p.m. and triple lanes at 11 p.m. All lanes will reopen to travelers at 5 a.m. each day.
Lane Shifts Northbound & Southbound Havana Street, Beneath I-70
Beginning Monday, Dec. 7, through Friday, Dec. 11, northbound and southbound Havana St. will experience alternating single lane closures each day from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. for bridge construction. The closure extends from the eastbound I-70 on ramp to the westbound I-70 on ramp.
Closure Eastbound I-70 Off Ramp to Havana Street
The eastbound I-70 off ramp to Havana Street is closed to all traffic. The off ramp is expected to reopen to traffic late January 2016.
This work is weather dependent and the schedule is subject to change.
