Ramp Closures Next Week at Fillmore Interchange
October 23, 2015 - Southeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 2 - COLORADO SPRINGS – Two ramps will be closed to traffic at Interstate 25 and Fillmore Street overnight on Monday, as part of the reconstruction of the interchange.
The ramp from Fillmore to northbound I-25 and the ramp from southbound I-25 to Fillmore will be closed from 9 p.m. Monday, Oct. 26, to 5 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 27.
Intermittent lane closures also will be taking place on northbound I-25 for acceleration lane widening work.
Locations along Fillmore Street, east and west of the interchange, still will be accessible by using alternate routes, including the interchanges at Garden of the Gods Road and Fontanero Street.
The intersection work is part of a Colorado Department of Transportation interchange reconstruction project. Completion is scheduled for summer 2016.
