Lane Closures near Overlook tomorrow
September 16, 2015 - Southeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 2 - COLORADO SPRINGS – The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will close two lanes of southbound Interstate 25 next to the Ackerman Overlook* tomorrow for pavement testing.
Beginning at 9 a.m., drivers should expect slowdowns and possible delays as I-25 is reduced from four to two lanes, beginning at the Overlook and proceeding south about ¼ mile. The speed limit also will be reduced from 75 mph to 65 mph.
CDOT expects to reopen all lanes around 1 p.m.
*The Ackerman Overlook is between Interquest and Briargate parkways
