Access control plan public open house scheduled next week

August 27, 2015 - Northwestern Colorado/CDOT Region 3 - ROUTT COUNTY —The City of Steamboat Springs, the Colorado Department of Transportation, Routt County and the United States Forest Service will hold a Public Open House for the US 40 East Steamboat Springs Access Plan.

The Access Plan is a long-range plan for future access to US 40 as growth occurs between 3rd Street and Forest Road 302.

When: Wednesday, September 2, 2015 from 4:00-7:00 pm

Where: Library Hall in Bud Werner Memorial Library, 1289 Lincoln Avenue, Steamboat Springs, CO.

This public open house will provide the community with an opportunity to:

  • Learn about access management and planning for future growth along US 40
  • Discuss future access to US 40 with project representatives
  • Provide comments on the Draft Access Plan

The project team will schedule one-on-one meetings in Steamboat Springs on October 7 & 8 with interested parties who might not be able to attend the open house or who would like to discuss the plan in more detail.  In addition, open house materials are available for review online at http://steamboatsprings.net/index.aspx?NID=521.
