Weld County Road 19 closed at SH 14 Tuesday through Thursday

July 24, 2015 - Northeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 4 - WELD COUNTY – The Colorado Department of Transportation announced that beginning Tuesday, July 28, and lasting through Thursday, July 30, access to Weld County Road 19 at State Highway 14 will be closed.

During this time, construction crews will be milling old asphalt and repaving the intersection of CR 19 and SH 14 with concrete. Doing so replaces deteriorating pavement, ensures the long-term health of the road, and provides motorists with a smoother driving surface.

For the safety of the traveling public, and the construction team, only local traffic will be allowed on this section of CR 19. All other traffic will be directed to SH 257 to travel north or south to their destination.

All emergency service providers have been notified of the closure, and signs will be posted to notify commuters of the closure.
