The main focus of construction involves replacing the bridge at US 6, MP 148.35 over Brush Creek. The project also includes installation of a new culvert in Hockett Gulch. Project boundaries begin at MP 148 and end at MP 149. Work will also include the addition of fortified embankments, paving and striping
TRAVEL IMPACTS: Travelers may expect delays on U.S. 6 during construction work hours, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday. Speeds are reduced to 35 mph and vehicles wider than 10 feet will be restricted through the project.
This $3.8 million dollar project was awarded to Ralph L. Wadsworth of Draper, Utah and is scheduled to be complete by mid-November 2015.
