June 26, 2015 - Northeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 4 - WELD COUNTY -- On Tuesday, June 30, the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will begin a resurfacing and bridge rehabilitation project on a 10-mile segment of State Highway 392, between Windsor and Lucerne in Weld County.

Work will include resurfacing the roadway, improving surface drainage and upgrading bridge rail and guardrail on five bridge structures. Work is expected to be completed by the end of October.

Motorists can expect single-lane closures and delays of up to 10 minutes Monday through Friday, from 5 a.m. to 6 p.m. No night or weekend work is currently anticipated. During working hours, a 10-foot vehicle width restriction will be in place through the work zone.

The speed limit will be reduced to 40 mph for both the safety of the traveling public as well as construction crews working along the highway. Fines will be doubled for speed violations through the construction zone.
