North I-25 Express Lanes; North of 120th Ave. Open House on April 9

THORNTON— The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) is hosting a public open house on Thursday, April 9, at the City of Thornton Infrastructure Maintenance Center located at 12450 Washington St. in Thornton from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m.

The open house will be held to provide information to residents and businesses regarding the proposed extension of the current Express Lanes project along I-25 between US 36 and 120th Ave. The northern terminus will depend on project funding.

The area of I-25 north of 120th will be completed as part of CDOT's Responsible Acceleration of Maintenance and Partnerships (RAMP) program, which will be combined with other funds as they become available. At the open house, attendees will receive information about:

• Features and benefits of the project
• Express Lanes
• Right-of-way needs and acquisitions
