Resurfacing work on I-76 will start up again March 9

March 3, 2015 - Northeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 4 - Work that began last year to resurface the 16-mile stretch of I-76 from Sedgwick to east of Crook will start up again on March 9.

Last year much of the work was done on the eastbound section. While there will still be some clean-up work on that stretch, most of the work beginning March 9 will be on the westbound lanes.

This $21 million project, being run by Simon Contractors out of Cheyenne, Wyo., will resurface the roadway and rehabilitate some of the bridge sections.

The work, which will all be done during daylight hours, will require lane closures.
