I-70 East Reconstruction Open House is April 2

March 26, 2015 - Northeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 4 - SEIBERT — The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) is hosting a public open house on Thursday, April 2, at the Stratton High School Gymnasium located at 219 Illinois Ave in Stratton from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

The open house will be held to provide information to residents and businesses regarding the I-70 reconstruction project that began March 25. Everyone is welcome to attend in order to learn more about the construction schedule, bridge repair processes and how motorists will be impacted, including planned alternate routes and detours.

The reconstruction project is taking place on I-70 between the towns of Seibert and Stratton. The project includes the repair of four bridges, the reconstruction and resurfacing of existing pavement with new concrete pavement, and shoulder and guardrail upgrades along a 7.5-mile stretch, from Mile Post 410.8 to Mile Post 418.3.

The contractor for the project is Castle Rock Construction Co.
