CDOT Hosts Industry Forum to Begin Engaging Industry on Delivering I-70 East Project

March 10, 2015 - Denver Metro/CDOT Region 1 - Two-day meeting begins discussions on what private partners can deliver to Colorado.

DENVER – The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will host approximately 150 industry representatives at a two-day forum on the I-70 East project. CDOT has proposed a series of major improvements to I-70 East from I-25 to I-225 including new Express Toll lanes and permanent removal of the 50-year old viaduct in north Denver. The Industry Forum is CDOT’s first step toward engaging with industry on the I-70 East Project.

The meeting will be held at the National Western Complex, at 2 p.m. on March 11. An opening session will provide an overview of the proposed improvements to I-70 East and allow CDOT to highlight elements of the project critical to the Department.
