CDOT Awards the SH 9 Wildlife Safety Improvement Project
The project funding was approved by the State Transportation Commission on December 18, 2014, in the amount of $51,719,000. The project is being financed using funds from CDOT’s RAMP funding (Responsible Acceleration of Maintenance and Partnership Program) with additional funds of over $9.2 million contributed to the project from local sources including Grand and Summit Counties, the towns of Kremmling and Silverthorne and over 175 private individuals and organizations, an effort led by the local Citizens for a Safe Highway 9 Committee.
