CDOT to close US 85 northbound at 9 a.m. for emergency repair at CR 18

December 5, 2014 - Northeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 4 - FORT LUPTON – The northbound lane of US 85 will be closed at Weld County Road (CR) 18 north of Fort Lupton at 9 a.m. today to allow CDOT crews to fix a culvert under the road.

Detours are in place for traffic to go to CR18 to CR31 to CR22 and then back to US 85.

Northbound and southbound traffic was limited to one lane in each direction in this location overnight and southbound will continue to be limited to one lane through this repair.

It is unclear how long the closure will be in place, but it should be at least most of the day today.
