Construction hours on SH 93 altered to reduce impact on rush hours
September 2, 2014 - Northeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 4 - BOULDER COUNTY — The hours of construction of SH93 from SH 170 to SH 128 south of Boulder will be reduced to lessen the impact on rush hour traffic in the area.
Regular construction will be from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Fridays.
The project will add shoulders to SH 93 and build a pedestrian underpass for the Community Ditch Trail under the highway.
The project will create more room between motorists and cyclists riding along the highway, will reduce the potential for collisions by providing an underpass for the safety of trail users, and will create a smoother highway surface for all who travel on SH 93.
Work on the project will continue through next Spring.
