CDOT safety improvements on SH52 at WCR 59 will begin next week
September 25, 2014 - Northeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 4 - A $1.1 million project to add turn lanes on SH 52 at Weld County Road 59 near Hudson is scheduled to begin next week and should take about a month to complete.
The turning lanes will improve the safety on SH 52 as much of the traffic in that area is turning into Weld Central Junior High School. The project is funded through CDOT, Weld County and School District Re-3J.
The project has been awarded to Insterstate Highway Construction.
There will be minor delays through the 3,000-foot construction site from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. over the next month.
