SH 9 Colorado River South Wildlife & Safety Improvement Project
The Colorado Department of Transportation is very pleased to host another public open house to share information and gather input on the upcoming SH 9 Colorado River South Wildlife & Safety Improvement Project. This project is made possible due to a very successful public-private partnership, including some dedicated private fund-raising efforts. The improvements will include shoulder widening, curve and hill flattening to increase motorists’ sight distance, five wildlife underpasses and the first two wildlife overpasses on the state highway system (in addition to other wildlife features) along an 11-mile section.
What: A public open house where attendees can see displays, pictures, schedules and milestones for the upcoming safety improvements on SH 9.
Who: Meet and talk with the CDOT project team, and those instrumental in making this project a reality.
When: Thursday, August 21, stop by anytime between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Where: Kremmling Chamber of Commerce, 203 Park Avenue.
Contact: Tracy Trulove, CDOT Region 3 Communications Manager, (970) 384-3371 or (970) 366-2502.
