TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Temporary Lane Closure in Place on I-70 at Exit 94 Near Rifle

July 31, 2014 - Northwestern Colorado/CDOT Region 3 - GARFIELD COUNTY– The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) is temporarily closing the right lane at Exit 94 (Mamm Creek) on eastbound I-70 until general maintenance repairs can be completed at this exit east of Rifle.

Travelers wishing to exit at mile marker 94 will be routed to the shoulder of I-70 in order to avoid the temporary closure. The left lane will remain open for travelers continuing east on I-70. The repairs are being conducted as a part of the larger resurfacing project taking place along this stretch of I-70.

TRAVEL IMPACTS  - Lane closures will occur for the duration of the project and speeds will be reduced from 75 MPH to 45 MPH through the work zone.
