I-70 Vail Pass/Shrine Pass (Exit 190) rest area to be closed for a few days

July 31, 2014 - Northwestern Colorado/CDOT Region 3 - EAGLE/SUMMIT COUNTIES —The Colorado Department of Transportation is scheduled to perform maintenance on the wastewater plant located on I-70 at Exit 190, the Vail Pass/Shrine Pass rest area.

Work is expected to be all-day on both Monday, August 4 and Tuesday, August 5 and will require a full closure of the rest area.

Variable messaging boards will be set-up on I-70 westbound at mile marker 195 and eastbound at mile marker 180 to alert motorists of the closure.
