Emergency road damage repairs nearing completion
DOLORES COUNTY – Colorado Department of Transportation Maintenance crews make good progress to repair the roadway depression on the northbound lane of SH 145 on the south side of Lizard Head Pass (mile point 58.75). The repair zone is about 200 feet long and crews removed the asphalt down to the dirt surface to install some drain pipes, rock material, road base and now new asphalt. The work is expected to be completed by the middle of next week, weather permitting.
TRAVEL IMPACTS - Motorists will encounter single-lane, alternating traffic 24/7, as well as a 10-foot width restriction until the barriers are removed next week.
