Wyoming DOT work at border will cause delays on US 287 today and Friday
June 5, 2014 - Northeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 4 - NORTHERN COLORADO — Blasting is scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday and Friday on the Wyoming Department of Transportation’s project to widen US 287 to four lanes north of the Colorado border.
Travelers in both directions are advised to expect delays of up to 30 minutes during the blasting.
Blasting will be needed periodically as the project continues, and on those days it will be done at 10 a.m. and/or 3 p.m., resulting in delays at those times of up to 30 minutes.
No blasting will occur on Sundays.
WYDOT will notify travelers of scheduled blasting as the project continues, and travelers are encouraged to avoid that construction area during the 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. blasting periods on those days.
