PROJECT UPDATE: US 160/550 CFI in Durango: Week of June 16

June 12, 2014 - Southwestern Colorado/CDOT Region 5 - DURANGO – Work on the Continuous Flow Intersection progresses into summer as CDOT and contractor, Concrete Works of Colorado, continue working on items such as signing, bridge rails, signal mast arms and raised concrete islands. Please see below for next week’s travel impacts:

Travel impacts for the week of June 16:

  • Roosa Avenue: Expect daytime northbound closures from US 160 to 9th Street
  • US 160 West: Expect median and left lane closures anytime: possible through lane closures in both directions west of the intersection from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., weekdays
  • US 550 Northbound Evening Work: Travelers should expect single lane closures from the College Drive intersection and extending south past the US 160/550 intersection for the installation of mast arms and mast arms sign, starting at 7:30 p.m. each night
  • US 550 Southbound Day and Evening Work: Expect southbound single lane closures south of College Drive from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., weekdays, and also after 7:30 p.m. for island construction and signal mast arms and mast arm signs
  • No weekend work June 14 and 15
