Highway 78 Resurfacing Scheduled Near Beulah; West of Pueblo
June 18, 2014 - Southeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 2 - PUEBLO COUNTY – The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will be paving two, one-mile segments of State Highway 78 next week.
Project hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Drivers can expect delays up to 10 minutes as flaggers alternate traffic through the following locations:
- Monday, June 23 – between mile 7 & 8 – near Beulah Cutoff (low speed segment – no speed reduction)
- Tuesday, June 24 – between mile 18 & 19 – about 13 miles west of Pueblo (speed limit reduced to 40 mph)
CDOT Maintenance is paving both segments to enhance the durability and surface life of the highway.
