Culvert Repair Closes Highway 144

May 20, 2014 - Northeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 4 - MORGAN COUNTY — State Highway 144 between Orchard and Goodrich is closed due to a damaged concrete box culvert.

The culvert is at mile 8.8, about 1½ miles west of Goodrich.

The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) is undertaking emergency repairs. Currently, the highway is expected to open – at the earliest – on Friday, May 23. However, this is only an estimate. In the meantime, drivers will need to use alternate routes to access locations between Orchard and Goodrich.
