US 40 Berthoud Pass to Close Overnight

January 30, 2014 - Statewide Transportation Plan - Crews to Close Berthoud Pass at 8 p.m. Tonight Through Tomorrow Morning, Loveland Pass to Remain Closed throughout the Night

Statewide – Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will close US 40 Berthoud Pass in both directions tonight beginning at 8 p.m. through 8 a.m. tomorrow morning due to adverse conditions. Crews will be surveying the conditions along the corridor throughout the night. Heavy snow is expected to continue into Saturday throughout this area.

Loveland Pass is currently closed in both directions due to adverse conditions. Winter weather is expected to continue into Saturday in this are as well. Loveland Pass will remain closed throughout tonight and into tomorrow morning.

Motorists traveling throughout the mountain corridors are encouraged to allow for extra time and use extreme caution as visibility is limited due to blowing snow and winter weather. Please visit www.cotrip.org for updated road conditions.
