Lane closures tomorrow in Glenwood Canyon for rock fall mitigation

January 14, 2014 - Northwestern Colorado/CDOT Region 3 - Delays expected to be about 15 minutes.

GLENWOOD CANYON — The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will be performing rock fall mitigation work, Wednesday, January 15 on I-70 in Glenwood Canyon between mile marker (MM) 120 and (MM) 121. The work is necessary to help improve safety.

Crews will be working in collaboration with Yenter Companies tomorrow morning from 9 a.m. to about noon. Delays should be about 15 minutes and there are no commercial vehicle restrictions at this time. The speed limit will be reduced through the area, and flaggers will direct traffic through the closures. Motorists are encouraged to drive Slow for the Cone Zone!
