CDOT Performing Emergency Repairs on US 36 Temporary Road Next Week

December 13, 2013 - Northeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 4 - Work will help improve safety and condition of highway through spring runoff.

BOULDER, LARIMER, AND WELD COUNTIES — Beginning Tuesday, December 17 and lasting through Friday, December 20 during daylight hours and weather permitting, CDOT will be performing emergency repairs on US 36 near mile marker 10 north of Pinewood Springs and south of Estes Park. The work will take place on the temporary roadway that opened in early November, and will help improve the safety and condition of the highway during the winter months.

Motorists should be prepared for a single lane of alternating traffic with delays of up to 20 minutes expected. Drivers are encouraged to build extra travel time into their schedules, and are urged to drive Slow for the Cone Zone!
