September 3, 2013 - Central Eastern Colorado/CDOT Region 1 - ARAPAHOE COUNTY – Today, September 3, 2013, the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) begins a resurfacing and bridge rehabilitation project on US 40 between Byers and Deer Trail.

The rest area is located on US 287 at mile marker 383, approximately two miles south of the Colorado/Wyoming border.
September 5, 2013 - Southwestern Colorado/CDOT Region 5 - MONTEZUMA COUNTY – The Colorado Department of Transportation will begin a project on September 16 to replace a corroded steel culvert (installed in 1974) under US 491 just north of Cortez (and north of Lebanon Road, or CR 25).
September 5, 2013 - Central Eastern Colorado/CDOT Region 1 - DENVER— The U.S. Department of Transportation announced that Colorado will receive $10 million for a fixed fire suppression system at the Eisenhower/Johnson Memorial Tunnels (EJMT) on the I-70 west corridor.
