Intersection Improvement Project at US 160 & US 285 in Monte Vista

January 4, 2013 - PUBLIC OPEN HOUSE - Southwestern Colorado/CDOT Region 5 - The Colorado Department of Transportation is hosting a public open house next Thursday, January 10, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., at the Monte Vista Chamber of Commerce, 947 1st Avenue, to share information and answer questions about upcoming improvements at US 160 & US 285 in Monte Vista.

The work, slated for construction from spring through fall of 2013, involves the following: removal of the existing asphalt and reconstruction in concrete; new sidewalks, curbs and gutters, and curb ramps at the intersection (the work zone lies between mile post 215 and 216.67).
