Pinon Rest Area Closed Until Spring

November 6, 2012 - Southeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 2 - PUEBLO COUNTY – The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) has closed the southbound Piňon Rest Area to allow installation of a new sewer system after the old one failed recently.

Located about seven miles north of Pueblo, the facility will remain closed through the fall and winter. It is scheduled to reopen to travelers in late April 2013.

The northbound Piňon Rest Area remains open to the public.
