I-70 Twin Tunnels Weekly Traffic Advisory

September 13, 2012 - TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Central Eastern Colorado/CDOT Region 1 - CLEAR CREEK COUNTY – Lane closures are scheduled overnight on Interstate 70 through the Twin Tunnels (east Idaho Springs) area next week for road sub-surface testing.

The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will implement the following overnight closures:

  • Wednesday, September 19, 6 p.m. to Thursday, September 20, 6 a.m.
    Right or left lane closed eastbound through the Twin Tunnels
  • Thursday, September 20, 6 p.m. to Friday, September 21, 6 a.m.
    Right or left lane closed eastbound through the Twin Tunnels

Lane closures continue for the next several weeks, not including weekends and holidays.  Weekly advisories will be distributed, detailing traffic impacts for the following week.
