Bridge Deck Rehabilitation to Cause Delays on I-76 and I-70 This Weekend
To complete the work, there will be both single and double lane closures in each location throughout the weekend.
Below are the specific lane closure hours at each location:
- Westbound I-70 over Havana Street: Up to two lanes of westbound I-70 will be closed from 7 p.m. on Friday, September 21 until 5:30 a.m. on Monday, September 24, for bridge deck repairs.
- Eastbound I-76 over 96th Avenue: Up to two lanes of eastbound I-76 will be closed from midnight Saturday, September 22 until midnight Sunday, September 23, for paving operations.
Major delays are expected on eastbound I-76 as well as westbound I-70 throughout the weekend and alternate routes are strongly advised. CDOT would like to remind motorists to obey all construction signs and flaggers and to “Slow for the Cone Zone.”
