I-70 Twin Tunnels Weekly Traffic Advisory
August 16, 2012 - TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Central Eastern Colorado/CDOT Region 1 - CLEAR CREEK COUNTY – Traffic stops and lane closures will be taking place on Interstate 70 at the Twin Tunnels next week for geological testing.
The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will implement the following overnight closures:
- Monday, August 20, 6 p.m. to Tuesday, August 21, 6 a.m.
30 minute traffic stops eastbound & westbound at the Twin Tunnels at the top of each hour: 11 p.m. until 4 a.m.
Left lane closed eastbound through the Twin Tunnels
- Tuesday, August 21, 6 p.m. to Wednesday, August 22, 6 a.m.
30 minute traffic stops eastbound & westbound at the Twin Tunnels at the top of each hour: 11 p.m. until 4 a.m.
Left lane closed eastbound through the Twin Tunnels
- Wednesday, August 22, 6 p.m. to Thursday, August 23, 6 a.m.
30 minute traffic stops eastbound & westbound at the Twin Tunnels at the top of each hour: 11 p.m. until 4 a.m.
Left lane closed westbound through the Twin Tunnels
- Thursday, August 23, 6 p.m. to Friday, August 24, 6 a.m.
30 minute traffic stops eastbound & westbound at the Twin Tunnels at the top of each hour: 11 p.m. until 4 a.m.
Left lane closed eastbound & westbound through the Twin Tunnels
Lane closures continue for the next several weeks, not including weekends and holidays. Weekly advisories will be distributed, detailing traffic impacts for the following week.
