I-70 Twin Tunnels Weekly Traffic Advisory

August 4, 2012 - TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Central Eastern Colorado/CDOT Region 1 - CLEAR CREEK COUNTY – The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will close one lane of eastbound or westbound Interstate 70 through the Twin Tunnels overnight next week for drilling operations.

Next week’s closures are scheduled as follows:

  • Monday, August 6, 6 p.m. to Tuesday, August 7, 6 a.m.
    Left lane closed eastbound through the Twin Tunnels
  • Tuesday, August 7, 6 p.m. to Wednesday, August 8, 6 a.m.
    Right lane closed eastbound through the Twin Tunnels
  • Wednesday, August 8, 6 p.m. to Thursday, August 9, 6 a.m.
    Left lane closed westbound through the Twin Tunnels
  • Thursday, August 9, 6 p.m. to Friday, August 10, 6 a.m.
    Left lane closed westbound through the Twin Tunnels

Lane closures continue for the next several weeks, not including weekends and holidays.  Weekly advisories will be distributed, detailing traffic impacts for the following week.
