Highway 231 Paving Next Week

August 9, 2012 - Southeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 2 - PUEBLO COUNTY – The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) is paving the two-mile segment of State Highway 231 on Monday, August 13, and Tuesday, August 14. This highway runs between U.S. 50 in Devine and U.S. 50 Business Route in Vineland.

CDOT will close the road to all through traffic from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days. Local residents will still be able to access areas along the highway but could experience minor delays – less than five minutes.

While the highway is closed, through traffic can use State Highway 233 (Baxter Road) or Nyberg Road as a detour.
