I-70 Twin Tunnels Weekly Traffic Advisory

July 26, 2012 - TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Central Eastern Colorado/CDOT Region 1 - CLEAR CREEK COUNTY – The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will close one lane of eastbound Interstate 70 through the Twin Tunnels and near Floyd Hill overnight next week for drilling, surveying and design work.

Next week’s closures are scheduled as follows:

  • Monday, July 30, 6 p.m. to Tuesday, July 31, 6 a.m.

Right lane closed eastbound from east Idaho Springs, through the Twin Tunnels, and continuing to the bottom of Floyd Hill

  • Tuesday, July 31, 6 p.m. to Wednesday, August 1, 6 a.m.

Left lane closed eastbound from east Idaho Springs, through the Twin Tunnels, and continuing to the bottom of Floyd Hill

  • Wednesday, August 1, 6 p.m. to Thursday, August 2, 6 a.m.

Left lane closed eastbound from east Idaho Springs, through the Twin Tunnels, and continuing to the bottom of Floyd Hill

  • Thursday, August 2, 6 p.m. to Friday, August 3, 6 a.m.

Left lane closed eastbound from east Idaho Springs, through the Twin Tunnels, and continuing to the bottom of Floyd Hill

Lane closures continue for the next several weeks, not including weekends and holidays.  Weekly advisories will be distributed, detailing traffic impacts for the following week.
