Twin Tunnels Lane Closures Next Week

June 22, 2012 - TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Central Eastern Colorado/CDOT Region 1 - CLEAR CREEK COUNTY – The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will close one lane of eastbound Interstate 70 through the Twin Tunnels and near Floyd Hill next week. Drilling, surveying and design work continues to take place in advance of the upcoming I-70 widening project.

June 22, 2012 - Southeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 2 - COLORADO SPRINGS – The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) begins rotomilling and paving Interstate 25 in the Fort Carson area on Sunday night, June 24.

Highway 24 Closure Update

June 25, 2012 - Southeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 2 - EL PASO/TELLER COUNTIES – U.S. 24 remains closed between the Cave of Winds Road and Crystola due to the area wildfires. Authorities have no estimated time for reopening.

June 25, 2012 - Central Eastern Colorado/CDOT Region 1 - PARK COUNTY – The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) is beginning a highway improvement project that resurfaces the 29-mile segment of State Highway 9 between Hartsel and the Park/Fremont county line near Guffey.
