Sign Installation Resumes Monday

June 15, 2012 - TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Southeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 2 - PUEBLO – The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) continues upgrading its electronic signs along Interstate 25 next week.

I-25 will be closed overnight, as follows:

  • Monday, June 18: I-25 northbound CLOSED at 10 p.m., just south of 29th Street.  Traffic detours east on 29th to Dillon Drive, north on Dillon to State Highway (SH) 47, east on SH 47 to I-25.  Highway reopens at 5 a.m. Tuesday.
  • Tuesday, June 19: I-25 northbound CLOSED at 10 p.m., just south of 1st Street.  Traffic detours north to 4th Street, east to SH 47/U.S. 50 and west to I-25.  Highway reopens at 5 a.m. Wednesday.
  • Wednesday, June 20: I-25 southbound CLOSED at 10 p.m., just north of Eagleridge Boulevard.  Traffic detours south on N. Elizabeth Street, east on U.S. 50 to I-25.

New signs are being installed to meet updated standards and guidelines, including slight design changes to improve visibility for drivers.
