New Detour in Place on State Highway 392 East of I-25

June 6, 2012 - TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Northeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 4 - Detour will be in place until Friday night.

LARIMER/WELD COUNTIES — Effective this morning, Wednesday, June 6 through Friday, June 8 at 6 p.m. crews from the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) have closed State Highway (SH) 392 from Larimer County Road (LCR) 13 to LCR 3 as part of the highway resurfacing project.

A local detour is in place and signs will direct motorists along the route, which will be north on either LCR 13 or LCR 3 to Jacoby Road. Speed limits are reduced through the area and motorists are reminded to obey all road signs and flaggers, and to drive Slow for the Cone Zone.

CDOT is well underway on a neighboring interchange improvement project at I-25 and SH 392. Since the two projects are directly adjacent to each other and also directly impact one another, CDOT will be providing updates for both projects together at www.coloradodot.info/projects/I-25SH392. Access to local businesses will remain available throughout both projects.

Lawson Construction is the contractor for the $4.9 million resurfacing project that is scheduled for completion by December 2012.
