I-70 Frontage Road Closure

June 11, 2012 -TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Central Eastern Colorado/CDOT Region 1 - IDAHO SPRINGS – The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) is closing the Interstate 70 Frontage Road (County Road 314), at the east end of Idaho Springs, on Tuesday, June 12, as preparations begin for an upcoming reconstruction project.

Surveying and other initial project work will be taking place over the next few weeks, restricting all vehicular traffic, except emergency vehicles, from using the roadway.

Access continues for recreational users and the current bicycle and pedestrian path remains open.
