Detours on State Highway 392 No Longer Necessary in Windsor

June 26, 2012 - Northeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 4 - TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Detours had been in place since early June.

LARIMER/WELD COUNTIES — Effective immediately, crews from the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) have reopened State Highway (SH) 392 from Larimer County Road (LCR) 3 to 17th Street in Windsor east of I-25 as part of the highway resurfacing project.

Detours had been in place through the area since June 8 after crews removed part of the roadway for a routine process of the resurfacing and discovered that the existing road was not safe for motorists to use for travel. Speed limits are still reduced on SH 392 through the area as work is still underway on the project. Motorists are reminded to obey all road signs and flaggers, and to drive Slow for the Cone Zone.

Lawson Construction is the contractor for the $4.9 million resurfacing project that is scheduled for completion by December 2012.
