Colorado State Patrol runs short, 20 minute closures along SH 149, South Fort to Creede next week

June 11, 2012 - Southwestern Colorado/CDOT Region 5 - MINERAL COUNTY – The Colorado State Patrol has issued a special use permit for temporary work along SH 149 between South Fork and Creede on Monday, June 18, to Friday June 22.

During this five-day period, motorists will encounter intermittent road closures in both directions along the 19 miles between the two towns (mile point 1 to 20) and travel delays from 3 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. each day. The speed limit will be reduced to 40 mph just at the flagger stations with normal speed limits between flaggers and elsewhere along SH 149.
