Highway 71 Improvement Project Underway Next Week

June 1, 2012 - Central & Northeastern Colorado/CDOT Regions 1 & 4 - LINCOLN/WASHINGTON COUNTIES – The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) begins upgrading nearly 26 miles of State Highway 71 on Tuesday, June 5.

Morning Closures of Highway 119 Begin Monday

June 1, 2012 - Central Eastern Colorado/CDOT Region 1 - GILPIN COUNTY – The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) is closing State Highway 119 to traffic for a couple of hours each morning next week, allowing bridge girders to be delivered to CDOT’s widening project outside Black Hawk.

Powers Boulevard Closure Sunday & Thursday Night

June 1, 2012 - Southeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 2 - COLORADO SPRINGS – The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) is closing Powers Boulevard for a couple nights next week to install girders over the roadway.

Improvement Project begins on Highway 94

June 4, 2012 - Southeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 2 - EL PASO COUNTY – Work is underway to upgrade the road surface and bridges on the 17-mile segment of State Highway 94 between U.S. 24 and Ellicott.

Overnight Closures of I-70 Near Tunnel This Week

June 4, 2012 - TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Central Eastern Colorado/CDOT Region 1 - SUMMIT/CLEAR CREEK COUNTIES – The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will close eastbound Interstate 70 from Silverthorne to the Loveland Pass exit – just east of the Eisenhower/Johnson Memorial Tunnel (EJMT) – for three nights this week for electronic sign installation.

June 4, 2012 - TRAFFIC ADVISORY - CLEAR CREEK COUNTY – One lane of eastbound Interstate 70 is closed through the Twin Tunnels this week as the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) conducts inspection and survey work in preparation of future highway improvements.

June 5, 2012 - TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Denver Metro Colorado/CDOT Region 6 - DENVER— Tonight, June 5th, the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will close all lanes of eastbound I-70 between Quebec Street and I-270 in order to realign traffic into its final configuration following bridge reconstruction.
